The first day at university

Although I am a third year student at University of Technical Education, I still remember the first day I came there. Some special thing, feeling happened to me and has become my unforgettable memory until now and maybe forever.

That was a day in September, according to schedule, I will have the 1st period at 12.15AM. So, at 11.45A.M, I took the bus to the university from my renting- house. When being in university, I felt quite nervous because I was just alone and was standing in totally new environment. I looked all people around me, everyone was so strange to me. My university was quite large with a lot of blocks and extremely bigger than my high school. So, when entering the gate, I did not know what the way I should go to my class was. Although I realized it was simple when I watched in the map last night. At that time, I really felt worry and confused. Maybe, I was so shy when I was a newcomer or those who were around me were all boys. Therefore, in that situation, I should have asked someone to help me. Fortunately, I met a pretty girl, she was in hurry but she also gave me direction. It could not believable, she and I were in the same class. Thus, we decided to go together. And now, she is one of my best friends. After 30 minutes, I finally came my class. It took me so long because my class was in the fifth floor. At that moment, my classmate and my teacher have already come. I found the seat quickly and thought " a terrible first day". Suddenly, the teacher came forward to me, asked me move to front of the class to introduce myself. I could not describe exactly my feeling at the time because I was about to do the thing that  I have never done before. I got in cold sweat. But I could not deny and had to obey. I tried to calm down to say what I could but I still said nothing. However, my teacher was not only a pretty woman but also very friendly. She came near me, smiled with me and helped me by asking some questions. After that, I felt more confident because I thought " I could do as well as my friends" and I spoke about myself, my hometown, my favorite,...without her help any more.

That was my first day at the university. It was both  interesting and confusing. I will keep this memory at my heart and maybe it was the happiest day during my schooldays in my life.
